Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Here are some frequent questions that customers ask:

Related to the DVD disks themselves...

Q) How do I "install" the DVDs when I get them?
A) There is no "installation", per se.  You simply put the DVD in a standard DVD player hooked up to a TV or in any computer with a DVD drive.  The menu will then appear on the screen, and you will be able to select the chapter (lesson) that you would like to watch.

Q) Do these DVDs play in a regular DVD player?
A) Yes.  They are standard DVDs such as you would purchase from a Wal-Mart, Bestbuy, etc.

Q) Do these DVDs play in a computer?
A) Yes, assuming that your computer has a DVD drive.  Most computers these days do.  If your comptuer can play DVD movies, then it will be able to play our DVDs just fine.

Q) Will these DVD play on a PC and/or a MAC?
A) Yes, they will play in any computer, PC or MAC, that has a DVD drive and is capable of playing standard DVD disks.

Q) I don't live in the United States.  Will your DVDs play overseas?
A) Yes!  All of our DVDs are encoded "region free" which means they will play in any DVD player anywhere in the world.  Many of our customers are indeed overseas.

Questions related to our shipping policy...

Q) How fast do you ship the DVDs?
A) In most cases, orders placed through the website before 3pm central time on weekdays are shipped the very same day.

Q) What shipping methods do you offer?
A) - Standard delivery (3-5 days),
    - Priority delivery (2-3 days),
    - Overnight delivery (Note: This uses the USPS Express mail service,
which is a 1-2 day service.  In the vast majority of cases the
packages arrives on the next day, but in some cases it can
take 2 days.  This will depend on where you live (city or rural),
when you placed the order, etc.

Questions related to our return policy...

Q) What is your return policy?
A) Simple.  If you are not 100% happy, you may return the DVD for a full refund.

Q) Why do you have such a generous return policy?  What's the catch?
A) Again, simple answer.  Customers universally love our DVDs.  Simply put, you will not want to return the DVD.  For the price and the sheer amount of instruction on each DVD, you will want to keep it as a reference long after you have finished your class.  Over the years we have had very, very few returns.

Other Questions...

Q) Do you have a "sampler" DVD or brochure you could mail to me?
A) No, sorry.  This website was constructed to provide this information to you. Here you can view the sample videos right in your web browser.  You can also read the DVD reviews, see pictures of the DVDs, screenshots, and see the chapter index of every DVD before you purchase it.  In this way you know exactly what you are getting before placing your order.

Your methods are so clear that my seven year old son was grasping the trigonometry lessons. I'm picking up some new stuff too.
